Dudeski is one of the djs where im really, really, really jealous about his vinyl collection and his selection. From Gospel to Rock to Funk to Soul, ..... every single record is 100% PURE QUALITY

From Breakz:

Winter Heat - Soul/Gospel/Funk/Rock/... 45 mix

I felt it was time for a new mix, so I spent a few sleepless nights putting together some of my favourite 45s. The mix features soul, gospel, funk, garage, blues and popcorn 45s and it's a mix of known tunes and obscurities. The idea behind the project was to make a cheerful mix for all those who are eagerly awaiting spring and summer and all the good things that come with it

Any feedback greatly appreciated. And I'm buying a pint for anyone that already knew all tracks in this mix

4. Carl Carlton - I can feel it
5. Denise LaSalle - A love reputation

La vie dans les camps et sur le bord des tentes n'est pas juste misère et désolation. Les gens s'occupent, les enfants se cherchent des occupations. On rit aussi. Les jeunes rap, chantent. Et on fait du karaté à Ste-Thérèse.

Sivamani: Rhythm is everything, everywhere

Anandan Sivamani, known to his fans as just Sivamani, is an electrifying performer and one of the leading drummers of India. His work blends classical drumming styles -- he studied with Carnatic master S.P. Balasubramaniam -- with jazz and world beats to create a propulsive sound that pulls in many instruments and traditions.

As a child, he says, he drummed on pots and pans in the kitchen, and that exuberance seems never to have left him -- he's an enthusiastic ambassador for the drum around india and the globe, and a frequent collaborator. A few notable matchups: Youssou N'Dour, tabla player Zakir Hussain, flutist Hariprasad Chaurasia, percussionist Elvin Jones, and A.R. Rahman, composer of Bombay Dreams. Last winter, he released his first solo album, Mahaleela, playing with a rotating team of singers and bandmates on a roster of songs he composed.

"My life as a drummer started the day I was in my mom’s womb, I played to the sound of my mom’s heartbeat."
